Patty Tucker, Grand Life Master
Having played bridge since age 11 it’s no wonder that Patty is passionate about bridge! Patty is the founder of Atlanta Junior Bridge which was created in 2006 to offer bridge to children for free.
An ACBL Best Practices Teacher/Trainer and American Bridge Teacher Association Master Teacher, Patty brings over 30 years experience to the program as a teacher and a writer. Patty was inducted into the ACBL Hall of Fame in 2018.
Denise Harlem
Denise is a technology support specialist and consultant. She began playing bridge in 2009 and quickly saw the academic and cognitive benefits for all players, but especially students. Denise started a bridge club in her elementary school and is now focusing on expanding bridge into schools across the country.
Using technology during the pandemic helped keep Denise’s bridge club active and thriving. The combination of face-to-face and online play has benefitted her students socially, academically, and cognitively and she wants all students to have this amazing opportunity.
